Wolfgangsee Salzkammergut Loop

Who does not know it, the eleven kilometers long and up to two and a half-mile-wide lake in the Salzkammergut. From here you start your cycling holiday Salzkammergut, which takes you on every day at a new lake with crystal clear water, including in the former imperial residence Bad Ischl to the UNESCO World Heritage Site, on Hallstatt Lake Hallstatt. Itinerary:

• 1. Day: Individual arrival in St. Gilgen
  St. Gilgen can easily be reached by car, a Free parking is available, of course, free of charge. Also from St. Gilgen comfortably by train to Salzburg and from there directly by bus. After a pass You are now entering the hotel, we have the bicycles and other necessary documents and upload them to a welcome drink.
  
  
• 2. Day: St. Gilgen - St. Wolfgang - Mondsee 42 km bike ride
  From St. Gilgen start after breakfast with your tour, a boat will take you and your bike with a splendid view over the surrounding mountains to St. Wolfgang. After your visit to St. Wolfgang, start with your bike around the lake on Wolfgang Strobl and St. Gilgen to Mondsee. You cycle on the cycle path then jump to Mondsee, where you stay for the night.
  
  
• 3. Day: Mondsee - Attersee - Traunsee (Gmunden), 45 km bike ride
  The first few miles you will cycle along the shore of Mondsee until after Unterrach am Attersee. There you climb with your wheel, the ship of the Attersee shipping, you can enjoy relaxing on board the surrounding natural scenery on your drive to Weyregg. The road then continues towards Traunsee, which you can reach the Aurachtal. Visit the castle Orth in Gmunden, not only known from the TV series Schlosshotel Orth, but also a real gem which is always worth a visit. Or you can visit during your stay may be the Gmunden Ceramics factory.
  
  
• 4. Day: Traunsee - Ebensee - Hallstatt lake 44 kilometers
  The route today leads first along the Traun on Traunkirchen to Ebensee. • 5. Day: Hallstatt - Obertraun - Bad Aussee - Altaussee 35 kilometers
  After breakfast, you should not miss a visit to the salt mines, there to learn something about the significance of the white gold. Then you cycle along the way to Lake Hallstatt Obertraun, where you follow the cycle path to the Koppe Brühler cave. Here you have the opportunity to visit in 10 minutes' walk to the cave. • 6. Day: Altaussee - Bad Aussee - Grundlsee - Toplitzer Lake - 40 kilometers 
  After a hearty breakfast, Bike along the river Traun in Bad Aussee, visit the geographic center of Austria in the park, continue the path takes you along the Traun River on the park path to paradise at the end of the world, "the Grundlsee. • 7. Day: Altaussee - St. Gilgen
