Wolfgangsee Salzkammergut

Who does not know it, the eleven kilometers long and up to two and a half-mile-wide lake in the Salzkammergut. It lies at the northern edge of the Alps at an altitude of 539 meters above sea level. It is up to 114 meters deep and covers an area of 13.5 square kilometers. With crystal clear water and its surrounding mountains, he will also make your cycling holiday memorable.

Itinerary:

• 1. Day: Individual arrival in Strobl
  Strobl reach easily by car, a Free parking is available, of course, free of charge. Likewise, you Strobl easily reached by train to Salzburg and from there directly by bus. After a pass You are now entering the hotel, we have the bicycles and other necessary documents and upload them to a welcome drink.
  
  
• 2. Day: 38 km bike ride Wolfgangsee
  On the route of the former Salzkammergutbahn by Blink Inger Moos at Gschwandt after Strobl and St. Gilgen. Farther Fürberg, walk about 30 minutes on the old Wallfahrerweg after Ferienhort to chapels and pilgrimage back to the hotel.
  
  
• 3. Day: Bad Ischl / 54 km bike ride Hallstatt
  On the bicycle path in the valley of Ischl to Bad Ischl (Imperial Villa, Lehar Villa). Next bike ride along the Traun River to the village and equestrian Lauffen, Bad Goisern and the Hallstatt. Lakeside bike to Steeg, walk to the Castle to the ferry Grub and Hallstatt. Visit to the Saline site. By train back to Bad Ischl and by bike to the hotel.
  
  
• 4. Day: 55 km bike ride Mondsee
  Next to St. Gilgen on the Wolfgangsee in the Salzkammergut Cycle Path and continue to Krottensee. Subsequently, the Mondsee and the lake on a beautiful cycle path to St. Lawrence (baroque church) and in the town of Mondsee and on over Tiefgraben (remains) of piles to Au and up Schärfling. Winkel and return by bus to the hotel by bike.
  
  
• 5. Day: 42 km bike ride Traunsee
  Bike ride to nearby Bad Ischl, then on the Traun bike path to Ebensee. Tell a battleship on LakeTraunsee (192 m), after Hoisn. Along the lake past the wilderness to reach Kaltenbach-Weyer, and Gmunden Schloss Orth, known gelichnamigen from the TV series. By train from Altmünster to Bad Ischl and by bicycle to the hotel.
  
  
• 6. Day: Individual departure or extension
  After breakfast, your cycling holiday ends on the Wolfgangsee.
